  • The Sparks Group (K-5th) is on Wednesday nights from 4pm-5pm.
 
  • The Lights Group (6th-12th) is on Sunday nights from 7pm-8pm.
 
  • Choir practice is every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.
 
  • If you would like to be a greeter on Sunday mornings there is a sign up sheet on the trophy case.
   
  • Mohawk Community Library is offering Adult Craft Nights through December.  Take a look at the back hallway bulletin board located by Jan's office for craft dates and projects.  RSVP's are required 2 weeks in advance of the starting date
 
  • Operation Stocking Stuffer:  Soon there will be stockings available on the back table with the age and gender of a child, with a list of appropriate items for the stocking included.  You may take as many as you wish, and the deadline to return the stockings to the church is no later than December 17.  There is an envelope on the trophy case for any monetary donations that are made.  If you would like to help in any way, let Lisa Keller or the office know.
 
  • The Children's Christmas Program this year is "The Christmas Story Through the Eyes of the Friendly Beasts."  Practice begins Wednesday, November 1 following SPARK's.  Practices will be from 5pm-6pm.  All children are welcome to come and participate.
 
  • Copies of the UCC's Still Speaking Writers: Watch: 2017 Advent Devotional- a unique colletion of devotions with scripture verse and prayer for each day of advent will be available soon. Individual copies are $6.50, or a 5-pack can be ordered for $16.50. Please let Jan know if you are in receiving a copy, or see the sign up sheet on the trophy case.
 
  • Our day to sell bows for the Add-A-Bow Community Hospice Tree is Monday, December 4 from 3pm-9pm at Tiffin Hardware.  Please see the sign up sheet on the trophy case to see times available.
 
  • All children, including the children of the community, are invited to ride on the church floatin the McCutchenville Community Christsmas Parade on Saturday, December 2.  We will gather at the church by 1pm.  Everyone is invited to the Community Center for refreshments and to visit with Santa.
 
  • We will be decorating the sanctuary for Christmas this Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30pm.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
  • Christmas Poinsettas are on sale through next Sunday, December 3.  Plants are $9.00.  See Sharon McGuire, Anna Carr, or the office for your order.
 
  • The Marion Correctional Institute will host their annual Christmas Play "Joy To All Generations" Monday, December 11 through Thursday, December 14.  Daily performances are at 1pm and again at 6:30pm.  You may register on their website http://marionplays.eventbrite.com or sign up on the trophy case and the office will place your reservation.  Reservation deadline- 1pm Wednesday.

  • Sycamore Community Food Pantry The Sycamore Community Food Pantry is open from 9:00am- 12 noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays  for any person or family in the Mohawk School District area in need of help, in the basement of Sycamore United Church of Christ. For additional information you may call Sycamore UCC at 419-927-9707 Monday-Thursday from 9:00a.m. to noon.
